The DoubleGate Swim & Tennis Club is happy to be able to accommodate you and your guests. Here is some useful information for reserving your spot and planning your party at our facility.
Who can party?
Only DGST Club members may book parties at the pool but non-member guests are welcome to attend. The estimated number of guests must be known beforehand in order to plan for appropriate lifeguard coverage. Non-member guests may not remain on the property once the host has left. There is no official limit on the number of guests but the DGST Club Board of Directors reserves the right to decline abnormally large parties that may interfere with normal operations.
What will it cost me?
There is a fee of $50 for 3 tables, or $100 for 6 tables under the pavilion only. Your tables will be reserved and ready for you 30 minutes before your reservation starts (for set up/decorations etc).
A security deposit check of $200 is also required to reserve your party. This check will be voided after the party, if there is no damage or trash left behind at the pool, the pool deck, surrounding grounds, as well as the bathrooms. The host is responsible for any damage caused by party activities or guests. Checks can be made out to DoubleGate Swim & Tennis Club and are required to be delivered to the pool chairperson prior to the party.
There is no charge to reserve a party on the DGST Club pool deck. However, a $200.00 security deposit check is required to be delivered to the Pool chairperson prior to the party. This check will be voided after the party and if there is no damage left behind at the pool. The host is responsible for any damage caused by party activities or guests. Checks can be made out to DoubleGate Swim & Tennis Club.
The club can invoice you for the fee of using the pavilion if you so choose to rent it. Please indicate to the pool chairperson when emailing if you would like to be invoiced or would like to drop a check off.
Will someone reserve tables for me?
Yes. For a small fee of $50.00 for half (three tables) the pavilion or $100 for the full (six tables), a board member will reserve the tables/chairs 30 minutes before the party starts. Parties can only be reserved for 2 hours. At the end of your two hours, you are more than welcome to stay longer but the reservation ends, and other guests/parties are then allowed to use the pavilion. If you decide that you do not want to use the pavilion and only want to use the pool deck, then the host is responsible for reserving the table/chairs needed. We suggest you place signs on the desired tables/chairs indicating what time they will be used for the party. Please be courteous and do not reserve more tables than needed for your party. If you do not pay for the pavilion, you CAN NOT use the pavilion for the party. Pavilion rental checks are required to be delivered to the Pool Chairperson prior to the party. Please make checks out to DoubleGate Swim & Tennis Club.
What about safety?
Parties may only be booked when lifeguards are present (see the lifeguard schedule at https://www.doublegatest.com/pool-hours). In addition, for parties of 25 people or more require an additional lifeguard and must be arranged through AMS, our pool management company. This is done at the expense of the host member. Additional lifeguards must be requested at least 2 weeks in advance of the party through the AMS website (see instructions below).
Where do I start?
Next, here are the steps to planning your reservation:
1. Contact the Pool Chairperson via email at pool@doublegatest.com, providing the following information:
-Member name & phone number
-Date and start/end times for the party
-Number of attendees
-Number of tables: under pavilion or out on pool deck.
After you have confirmed your reservation with the Pool Chair Person, for parties of 25 or more, visit the
Pool Party Procedures page AT LEAST 2 weeks in advance and fill out the request form indicating the number of additional lifeguards needed (i.e. 25-49, 1 lifeguard... 50-74, 2 lifeguards, etc). DGST Club rules trump AMS rules anywhere there is disagreement between them.
Any time before the party, mail or drop off a check with the Pool Chairperson for the security deposit as well as Table Reservation check.
On the day of the party, you may arrive 30 minutes before the party to set up and HAVE FUN!
Afterwards, let the Pool Chairperson know if everything went ok and if the security deposit check should be voided.
